These Terms of Service govern your use of the services provided by Revive IT LLC, doing business as Revive IT Service Center ("we," "us," or "our"), located at 722 N Manhattan Ave, Manhattan, KS 66502. By using our services or website, you agree to these terms in full.
1. Services
Revive IT Service Center provides computer and device repair, data recovery, remote support, managed IT services, custom PC builds, and hardware recycling services. All services are subject to these Terms of Service.
2. Device Ownership
By initiating an order for repair, estimation, or service, you affirm your status as the rightful owner of the device being submitted for service. You acknowledge that you have the authority to authorize repairs on the device.
3. Diagnostic Fee
A non-refundable deposit of $99 is applicable to all computers and devices checked in for service. This deposit will be applied toward any incurred service or repair cost. If you decline the repair after receiving your diagnosis, the deposit is retained as payment for the diagnostic work performed. The diagnostic fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.
Within 24 hours of check-in, we will provide you with a complete diagnosis and a repair quote. No repair work will begin without your explicit approval.
4. Repair Warranty
We stand behind our work. All repairs performed by Revive IT Service Center carry a 90-day limited warranty covering defects in parts and workmanship related to the specific repair performed.
Warranty Exclusions
The following are explicitly excluded from our warranty coverage:
- Prior liquid or water damage — the warranty is void in cases of prior liquid damage. Devices with any history of water or liquid exposure are not covered due to the unpredictable nature of corrosion and long-term damage
- Severe physical damage — warranty coverage does not extend to accidental damage such as drops, impacts, or extreme physical damage occurring before or after the repair
- Customer-opened devices — any device that has been opened, tampered with, or partially repaired by the customer or an unauthorized third party after our service voids the warranty
- Unrelated issues — the warranty covers only the specific component or issue addressed in the original repair
- Software issues — unless the original repair was a software-specific service, software problems arising after a hardware repair are not covered
To make a warranty claim, return the device to our shop within the 90-day warranty period with your original repair receipt.
5. Purchased Devices
Devices purchased from Revive IT Service Center are covered by a 90-day hardware warranty. Returns within 7 days of purchase are eligible for store credit only, at the original purchase price, and are subject to a $50 restocking fee.
6. Data Liability Policy
We treat your data with the utmost care and take reasonable precautions to protect it during service. However, by leaving your device with us for repair, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
We strongly recommend backing up all data before bringing your device in for service. Certain repair procedures, including but not limited to operating system reinstalls, hardware replacements, and data recovery attempts, may result in data loss.
Revive IT Service Center is not liable for any data loss on Dead on Arrival (DOA) devices. Revive IT Service Center disclaims responsibility for any additional damage that may occur during estimation or repair attempts. Revive IT Service Center is not liable for any loss, corruption, or inaccessibility of data that occurs during the repair process, regardless of cause.
If data recovery is a priority, please inform us at check-in and we will discuss your options before proceeding with any repair work. Data recovery is a separate service and is not guaranteed.
7. Device Abandonment
Revive IT Service Center retains the right to retain and recycle devices abandoned after 30 days from the last contact. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you before taking any such action.
8. Payment
Payment is due in full at the time of device pickup. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Devices will not be released until payment is received in full. For Revive Protect subscription plans, billing is handled monthly through our payment processor and is subject to the subscription terms provided at sign-up.
9. Remote Support
Remote support sessions are billed at $120 for the first hour and $60 per additional 30-minute increment. A session of any duration under one hour is billed at the full first-hour rate. By initiating a remote support session, you grant our technician temporary, supervised access to your device for the purpose of resolving the stated issue only.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Revive IT LLC's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Riley County, Kansas.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
