Device Repair Questions

No appointment is needed for most repairs. Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Friday, 10am to 7pm at 722 N Manhattan Ave. If you'd like to schedule a specific drop-off time, you can use our online scheduling form and we'll confirm within one business day.
Our diagnostic fee is $99. This covers a thorough inspection of your device and a complete repair quote delivered within 24 hours. The $99 is non-refundable, but it applies toward the cost of any repair you approve. If you decline the repair, the diagnostic fee covers the cost of the work our technicians performed.
Most repairs are completed within 24 to 72 hours. Simple repairs like virus removal or software issues are often done same day. More complex repairs like screen replacements or data recovery may take longer depending on parts availability. We will always give you an estimated turnaround time when we provide your repair quote.
We repair Windows desktops and laptops, iMacs, Mac Minis, MacBook Air and Pro, Chromebooks, and custom-built PCs. For phone and tablet repairs, visit our sister company Mobile Revive at mobile-revive.com.
Yes. All repairs carry a 90-day limited warranty covering defects in parts and workmanship related to the specific repair performed. The warranty does not cover devices with water damage, devices opened by the customer after our repair, physical damage, or issues unrelated to the original repair. Yes, absolutely. We strongly recommend backing up all important files before any repair. Some procedures, including OS reinstalls and hardware replacements, can result in data loss. While we take every precaution to protect your data, we are not liable for data loss that occurs during the repair process. If data recovery is a priority, please let us know at check-in.
If we determine your device is not repairable or the cost of repair exceeds its value, we will let you know honestly and discuss your options. The $99 diagnostic fee still applies as payment for the diagnostic work performed. We can also assist with data recovery from non-repairable devices and responsible hardware recycling.

Remote Support Questions

Remote support allows one of our technicians to securely connect to your computer over an encrypted connection and fix issues without you leaving home. You stay in full control and can watch everything we do in real time. You can disconnect at any moment. It works best for software issues, virus removal, slow performance, and general troubleshooting.
Remote support is $120 for the first hour and $60 per additional 30-minute increment. Sessions of any length under one hour are billed at the full first-hour rate of $120. Most issues are resolved within the first hour.
Yes. We use bank-grade 256-bit AES encryption for all remote sessions. You grant access with your permission, you can see everything we do on your screen, and you can end the session instantly at any time. No access is retained after the session ends.
Most software-related issues can be resolved remotely including virus and malware removal, slow performance, OS errors, Windows and macOS crashes, network and WiFi issues, account and password problems, printer setup, and general software troubleshooting. Hardware issues such as broken screens or failed hard drives require an in-person visit.

Revive Protect Questions

Revive Protect is our managed home computer protection service. We deploy and manage professional antivirus, remote monitoring, automatic updates, and more on your computer so you never have to think about it. Plans start at $10 per month per device with no contracts.
Silver ($10/mo) includes managed antivirus, remote monitoring, PC health alerts, and automatic updates. Gold ($25/mo) adds remote clean-up sessions where a technician remotely tidies up your machine. Platinum ($50/mo) adds cloud backup and a credential manager on top of everything in Gold. All plans are month-to-month with no contracts.
No contracts, ever. All Revive Protect plans are month-to-month. Cancel any time and we will remove all managed software from your device cleanly.
Yes. Each plan is priced per device. If you have multiple computers, contact us and we will set up your account with multiple devices at the same plan tier or different tiers for each machine.

Custom PC Build Questions

Start by contacting us through our website or stopping in the shop. Tell us how you plan to use the computer and what your budget is. We will put together a parts list and quote tailored to your needs. Once you approve the build, we order the parts, assemble the machine, stress test it, and notify you when it is ready for pickup.
Build time depends on parts availability. Most builds are completed within 5 to 10 business days after approval. We will give you an estimated timeline when we provide your quote.
Yes. Our workmanship on the build is covered by our 90-day warranty. Individual components are also covered by their manufacturer warranties, which vary by part. If something goes wrong, bring it back and we will take care of it.

Yes. Revive IT Service Center and Mobile Revive are both part of the Revive IT family of companies. Mobile Revive specializes in phone and tablet repairs. Revive IT Service Center handles computers, laptops, and IT services. Both are located in Manhattan, KS.
